I am a second-year PhD student in Operations, Information, and Decisions at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). I am very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Hamsa Bastani.
My research is centered on developing and deploying machine learning (ML) algorithms and optimization for data-driven decision-making, particularly in the fields of healthcare, education, and social good initiatives. My work so far has specifically focused on underserved communities and marginalized contexts.
I also have strong interest in the development of fairness in ML and equitable AI system. I am passionate about working with practitioners and policymakers to transform socially impactful research into practical real-world solutions.
Check my recent work in collaboration with the Government of Sierra Leone at Analytics at Wharton’s Research Spotlight.
